Roadside Services and Solutions farewells its oldest employee this week, Quality Production Manager Gary Park after five years of excellent service to the company.

The lure of enjoying a long and fruitful retirement have finally won the day when Gary hung up his talent and tools this week that has seen Roadside Services and Solution Victorian sign manufacturing operations produce many tens of thousands of signs for our clients right across the country.

Gary started at Roadside’s first premises at Croydon in 2017 and followed the company’s expansion to Bayswater in 2020 setting up a much bigger sign making division.

His areas of expertise and experience extended across signage, screen printing, estimating, exhibitions and display material production and production management.

Gary spent his early years as production manager at Roadside Services and Solutions in the sign manufacturing division and later moved to be the production quality manager.

Roadside Managing Director Craig Woods says while Gary is not the longest-serving team member at Roadside, he certainly takes the award for the oldest employee on the books, at 68 years of age.

“Gary has been an integral member of our team overseeing the quality and delivery of our sign making business. His expertise has been valued by our clients and he has been an outstanding mentor to our team,” Craig Woods said.

In farewelling his colleagues this week, Gary said, “I have enjoyed my time at Roadside Services and Solutions and I wish the business and you all a great future.

“I’m not sure where retirement will take me, hopefully to some new horizons. Thank you to everyone who has helped and assisted me over the last few years.”
