Jaybro acquires Roadside Victorian Signs Manufacturing Division

Roadside Services and Solutions is proud to announce industry leading sign manufacturer Jaybro has acquired Roadside’s Victorian Signs Manufacturing Division.

The Roadside Victorian Signs Manufacturing Division located at 841 Mountain Highway, Bayswater, Victoria has now been taken over by Jaybro.

Roadside Managing Director Craig Woods said he was exceptionally proud the Victorian Roadside Manufacturing Division which the company started 13 years ago had now matured to become a strong saleable business.

“We’re thrilled Jaybro was the leading contender to purchase our business. Jaybro has established an outstanding reputation in the signs manufacturing business and the acquisition of our Victorian division will further grow their endeavours,” Craig Woods said.

“Our relationship with Jaybro will continue in partnership with them where we will provide the civil installation for the signs manufacturing, continuing to service many of our customers we have been privileged to serve since we started in 2010.

“We chose to sell to Jaybro because they have a strong vision to grow in the Victorian market supplying all traffic signage.

“We’re pleased this sale will see us working more closely with Jaybro offering installation and civil services along with linemarking to support their growing Victorian sign manufacturing.

“The Jaybro sale included Jaybro acquiring all our sign manufacturing staff and administration personnel. Our good, capable and well skilled workforce was a real strength we had when working through the sale to Jaybro,” Craig Woods said.

“It was sad to farewell our manufacturing staff, but we know we have handed over to Jaybro an outstanding team. They will continue to service the clients we had grown in our 13 years and we know that with Jaybro they will continue to give of their best for the company and the clients.

New address for Roadside Victorian operations

Roadside’s Victorian operations will continue to provide signs installation, civil works, Energy Absorbing Bollard installations and linemarking.

The company has moved its Victorian operations to the new address of 120 Bayfield Road East, Bayswater North, a short 1.2km from the current address taken over by Jaybro at 841 Mountain Highway, Bayswater.

Business as usual for South Australia and Northern Territory operations

It will be business as usual for Roadside South Australian and Northern Territory operations. Signs will be continued to be manufactured in South Australia at the Roadside Lonsdale plant and at the Darwin Winnellie operations.

Roadside’s Lonsdale operations in South Australia remain one of the only signs manufacturing plants in the state of South Australia.
