Car park bollards

Protect assets and pedestrians from low-speed collisions

Our EAB20 parking bollards are a robust steel construction and are installed with a sound footing of reinforced concrete. The bollard is also wrapped in a sleeve of energy absorbing foam with the capacity to absorb minor impacts. This minimises damage to vehicles.

Our parking bollards have been safety tested for impacts up to 20 km/h; preventing unauthorised vehicle access and protecting assets and pedestrians. Our car park bollards are:

  • Robust and installed with sturdy footings
  • Certified by mechanical engineers
  • Compliant with Australian standards

Bollards in action

Pedestrian protection for City of Burnside Council, South Australia

Overview

The City of Burnside Council needed car park bollards to provide a physical barrier between the disabled car park area and the pedestrian footpath leading to the council administration building.

Our solution

We supplied and installed a series of EAB20 car park bollards to protect the nine-metre long area. The bollards were installed 500 millimetres deep in reinforced concrete footing and energy absorbing foam, providing far greater protection for pedestrians, motorists and assets at the location.

Frequently asked questions

Can you provide brochures and technical specifications?

Yes, you can find all our brochures and technical specification sheets for all our products in our document centre. If you have any specific questions about our car parking bollards, please get in touch.

What is the ratings performance?

Our car park EABs have been crash tested and rated for impacts up to 20 km/h. Our bollards are constructed and installed with sturdy footing to provide a robust solution.

Many other types of car park bollards are only surface mounted to provide a visual barrier for motorists and provide little physical protection for pedestrians and assets.

Where have your bollards been installed?

We have installed car park bollards in hundreds of locations all across Australia. Our team has extensive experience and we can assess the installation requirements of your location and install your bollards accordingly, including non-invasive digging and surface reinstatement.

Can you provide testing data for the bollard?

Yes, we can provide the crash test analysis and certification from mechanical engineers for all our bollards. See our document centre for details.
