Our energy absorbing end terminal bollards are engineered to protect motorists and assets in the event of a collision. They are non-gating and non-redirective, meaning that errant vehicles are ‘captured’ and kept away from assets and other vehicles, minimising potential injuries, road hazards and damage.

We can install end terminal safety bollards in compliance with AS/NZS 3845:1999 and the exact requirements of your location. We can also provide supply only, along with a detailed installation manual. Our energy absorbing end terminal bollards are:

Overview

The City of Tea Tree Gully Council needed an end terminal solution which was compatible with a W-beam guardrail system with non-gating energy absorbing capability.

Solution

We supplied and installed energy absorbing end terminals to the leading end of an existing W-beam guardrail system which was capable of arresting an errant vehicle weighing 1,600 kilograms travelling up to 60 km/h. This prevents vehicles from continuing down a steep embankment in the event of a collision, preventing secondary incidents and protecting pedestrians.
