Successful completion of car park works at Glenunga International High School

Roadside Services and Solutions has proudly completed a significant infrastructure upgrade at Glenunga International High School, located at 99 L’Estrange Street, Glenunga.

The project involved a comprehensive reconstruction of the school’s car park to enhance functionality, safety, and overall accessibility for students, staff, and visitors.

Scope of Works

The project entailed the complete removal and rebuilding of the existing car park. This included:

• Full-depth profiling of the existing surface.
• Reconditioning the subgrade.
• Installing a new subbase and base material.
• Constructing new kerbs and laying 35mm AC10 asphalt.
• Expanding the car park slightly to improve vehicle parking and departure efficiency.

Beyond the structural improvements, finishing touches were added to enhance safety and usability, including:

• New fencing and lighting.
• Fresh line marking for organized parking.
• Footpath paving for pedestrian access.
• Updated signage for improved navigation and compliance.

Project Execution

This critical infrastructure work was conducted on behalf of Ventia, the company responsible for managing the Across Government Facilities Management Arrangement (AGFMA) contract for the South Australian Department of Infrastructure and Transport. The project was designed by FMG, the consulting engineers, ensuring a high standard of design and implementation.
